The EDP Trainee Program attained, in only 5 weeks of attractiveness campaign, more than 5000 global applications from 87 countries. After the occurrence of the online assessments and video interviews, we organized 5 Assessment Days in 2 continents and 3 countries, namely in Lisbon, Madrid and São Paulo.
The Assessment Days, aimed to evaluate business and tech profiles, took place on the 1, 10, 16, 19 and 23 of October, with the participation of 182 candidates coming from all around the world.
During the full day activity, several activities were carried out, such as an escape room with augmented reality, a business case tailor-made to the business sector, a job fair between EDP’s different business units and candidates and a virtual reality initiative.
The project was delivered to the client in 8 weeks, which encompassed the opening of applications and the final assessment process. The candidates, already selected, are now being hired. Based on a survey about the candidates’ satisfaction, 96.72% were very satisfied or satisfied with their experience throughout the process.
The EDP Trainee Program starts in January 2019 and it will be held for 14 months. During this period, the trainee will have the opportunity to learn more about EDP’s business and assume different roles and tasks in a context of multicultural exposure and of international experience.
