About

Our current food system account for nearly one-third of global GHG emissions, consuming large amounts of natural resources, resulting in biodiversity loss, negative health impacts and not allowing a fair economic return to primary producers.

The aim of the ACORN – Sustainable agripreneurship competences for rural development – project is to support small farmers and individuals running small/microbusiness in the field of agriculture developing core sustainable, business and innovation competences so they can become sustainability agripreneurs who act towards achieving the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) and a fair, healthy and environmental-friendly food system.
