About
Industry 4.0 has implications in several sectors of the society, including in Vocational Education and Training (VET), as additional training and qualifications are necessary to prepare skilled specialists on the most recent technological innovation.
AGORA VETPro 4.0 project aims at improving VET image and attractiveness to learners by empowering professionals involved in VET with competences, motivation and confidence to act as ambassadors of a modernised VET system, aligned with Industry 4.0. This way, youngsters can see VET as a career pathway that leads to an enhanced employability and to a better professional realisation, considering the actual industry needs.

Activities
- Definition of a Competence Profile and of a Code of Conduct with the knowledge, skills, and autonomy and responsibilities required by the targeted professionals
- Elaboration of a modular Training Programme providing to the professionals the competences that allow them to adequately promote the VET system
- Production of video Talks featuring professionals which career development and success is related with VET
- Realisation of a transnational learning activity in Athens to capacitate trainers on the project resources
