The alarming unemployment rate among women at risk of social exclusion in all countries involved in the project are well-known.

The FFEM (Fostering Female Entrepreneurship Mindset) project has as its strategic focus promoting and enhancing entrepreneurship and self-employment by developing a training programme for women at risk of social and economic exclusion.

Activities
  • Development of a 3-level training programme, for both women and professionals, to equip them with a set of didactic resources on: i) entrepreneurial competences; ii) soft skills for entrepreneurs; iii) reconciliation of professional and personal life
  • Publication of policy recommendations on two key issues: the changing role of adult professionals in digital education; and the need for bespoke female entrepreneurship programmes to stimulate and support economic development in local communities
  • Creation of a learning platform to make available all training materials and ensure a broaden dissemination of the project
  • Gathering positive entrepreneurship stories and female profiles in a format of case studies to inspire other women
