UPCOMING WOMEN

Low skilled women’ empowerment through global competence and mentorship
About

Gender inequality is a global problem and according to the Gender Equality Strategy 2020-2025 no European Union Member State has achieved full gender equality and it is progressing slowly. In addition, the coronavirus outbreak exacerbated existing inequalities in a context of gender discrimination: women, especially low skilled ones, are generally in situations that create vulnerability.

UPCOMING WOMEN aims to boost the social and labour inclusion of low skilled women in situation of vulnerability, by equipping them with knowledge, skills and tools – namely through mentoring methodologies – to become globally competent.
