VALORISTE

Fostering adults volunteering towards sustainable development through circular economy practices
About

“Valoriste agents” are recognised professionals in some European Union countries who are responsible for the recycling and upcycling of goods, extending their lifecycle and contributing to the goal of a zero-waste society. This is a professional profile which has potential to spread across Europe.

The VALORISTE project aims to improve the competences of low-qualified adults and adults from socially vulnerable groups in strategic subjects for sustainable development by boosting their volunteering mindset to circular economy related activities. Furthermore, it also aims to contribute to the development of competences of adult educators involved in circular economy, in order that they support these adults in the implementation of personal and community circular economy practices, so that they can act as “valoriste agents” across Europe.
