New Future

Better mental wellbeing for the refugees in their new future
About

Migration is a stressful process and refugees are often exposed to traumatic events leading to significant mental health challenges such as depression, anxiety and post-traumatic stress disorder.

The NewFuture project aims to promote mental wellbeing, capacity building and empowerment of refugees in the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector, enhancing their social and economic integration through education and training. Additionally, it seeks to train VET professionals, community leaders and volunteers to assist refugees by improving their cultural competences and boosting mental health awareness.
